Privacy policy

Template — to be confirmed by a lawyer

This document describes how the site actually behaves, but before a commercial launch a lawyer should approve it and the registration details must be filled in.

Data controller

The controller of personal data is HAWK.FIX — Jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza, Warszawa, Polska. Contact: hawkfix@outlook.com, WhatsApp +48 735 369 350.

The request form

The "Job sheet" form on this site accepts: the selected job, the district, your preferred time, a description of the problem, and — if you provide them — your name and phone number. Name and phone are optional, but without them there is no way to reply.

The request goes to our server on Cloudflare and is immediately passed to the messenger I use for work (Telegram). We do not build a customer database: a request lives as a message in a messenger, not as a record in a system.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering a contract and performing it. For accounting documents: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — a legal obligation.

Retention: correspondence for up to 12 months after the job ends, in case of questions or complaints. Accounting documents for 5 years as required by tax law.

We send no newsletters and use your number for nothing except handling this request.

WhatsApp

Instead of the form you can message on WhatsApp — in that case we receive whatever you tell us yourself. There is no phone support, so the whole conversation stays in the chat.

WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta group) and operates under its own privacy policy. When you press the WhatsApp button you move into their app or website — from that moment their rules apply as well.

Who else sees this data

Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting for the site and the server that receives requests. Acts as a processor under standard contractual clauses.

Telegram Messenger — the messenger the request text is delivered to, so that I see it on my phone straight away.

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. If you would rather avoid that, the fonts can be self-hosted — the project documentation explains how.

We pass the data to nobody else and we do not sell it.

Cookies and browser storage

We use no cookies for analytics, advertising or profiling.

We use the browser's local storage to remember your chosen language and the light or dark theme. That is technical data needed for the settings you chose yourself — it requires no consent and never leaves your device.

If you see Cloudflare Turnstile next to the form, it only checks that a human is sending the request; it does not profile you or track you across sites.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. Send your request to hawkfix@outlook.com — for me, deleting a request means deleting a message.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

We do not profile and make no automated decisions.
